Culmstock Pre-school Playgroup is a small, friendly playgroup catering for 3-5 year olds in Culmstock and surrounding area. We are Ofsted registered and also a registered charity.
Admissions
It is our intention to make the pre-school genuinely accessible to children aged 3 to 5 from all sections of our community.
We hold Open Days each term, and also provide parents and children with 'taster' sessions allowing them to get a feel for the setting.
Due to our limited capacity of ten children per session we operate a waiting list for places, including Lunch Club, with prioritisation as set out below. At rare times of high demand we may operate limitations with regard to the number of sessions available to each family.
Prioritisation for admissions in descending order
All children aged 3-5 become eligible for government funding towards childcare for up to 12.5 hours per week (rising to 15 hours in 2010). Parents may request extra chargeable sessions in addition to the government funded sessions (12.5 hours per week). Please refer to our Sessions and Fees page.
